NewsCred Named a Leader in First Gartner Magic Quadrant for Content Marketing Platforms

by Doug JarvisApril 12, 2018

Gartner recently released its initial Magic Quadrant for Content Marketing Platforms (CMP) and we are excited that NewsCred was positioned highest for ability to execute and furthest to the right for completeness of vision.

Gartner’s decision to launch a Magic Quadrant for Content Marketing Platforms confirms our belief that in a time of zero-based budgeting and increasing pressure to ramp up sluggish top-line growth, marketing leaders can no longer afford content marketing programs if they are not driving business results.

In this era of performance content marketing, teams need to scale their creation of relevant and engaging content that not only drives pageviews, but also helps to convert site traffic into revenue. Just as important, they need to be able to measure the impact of content on business performance. As a result, CMPs have become critical to enterprises’ efforts to improve the efficiency of content marketing operations as well as increase marketing influenced revenue by tracking and optimizing content across the audience journey.

According to the report, “Gartner defines content marketing platforms (CMPs) as software solutions that support the practice of content marketing. Many CMP vendors complement their solutions with optional services. However, most CMPs include at a minimum: 1) Capabilities to support ideation, editorial planning, collaboration, and workflow; 2) Tools to create, curate, and publish content of all types; and 3) Analytics and insights to measure and optimize content performance.”

The NewsCred CMP not only delivers these baseline capabilities, but exceeds them and has become the gold standard that not only content marketing teams, but marketing organizations as a whole, use to efficiently produce and optimize content that impacts top-line growth. The NewsCred CMP enhances the scale, visibility, and performance of content produced across enterprise marketing organizations by:

Unlike other vendors in this space, NewsCred combines this advanced platform with the largest marketplace of relevant licensed and original content and unrivaled expertise to deliver a complete content marketing solution that drives operational efficiency and marketing attributed revenue.

While we are honored that Gartner recognized NewsCred as a Leader in this year’s Magic Quadrant, we recognize that the demands of performance content marketing continue to evolve. As a result, we continue to focus on the future, thinking about how increased levels of personalization, intelligence, and automation in the NewsCred CMP can make our customers’ jobs easier and the assets they produce even more valuable to their audiences and their businesses.
